Members of the community were shocked today upon learning that the websites “Mod The Sims 2”, “More Awesome Than You!” and “Insimenator” were going to merge into one single, large modding site. The announcement came today at 12:00 PM EST at all three sites, and it was proclaimed to be a move that would bring about a “golden age for Simmers.” The new website's location, www.modtheawesomenator.net, will launch on September 1st, 2007.

Welcome, new reader, to a strange venture in the Sims 2 community, a monthly magazine called The SimSonian. Many Simmers from various places responded to the invitation to start work on this idea, and it all snowballed from there. Once the first stories started coming in, we began to think “Oh yeah, this thing could definitely last at least two issues.”
Lo and behold, we actually got something done. Despite the fact that a few *cough*one*cough* of the people working on the project take forever to get anything done, things fell together and we had a product.

Here's a bit of an overview to what we have here for you all. First, we have some community news that showcases the latest in custom content. Secondly, we have our opinion page featuring columns from all your favorite and most despised Sims characters. After that comes the feature spread which will highlight a particular subject each issue. This issue, it's Seasons. We'll make a more interesting feature spread next time*, we promise**.
After that comes my personal favorite section, LIES AND PROPAGANDA. This section highlights all the best dirt we could make up about our beloved community. Some of it is inspired by real things, while other parts of it are just made up for the laugh factor. At least that's the goal. Whether or not you actually find it funny is another matter entirely.
LIES AND PROPAGANDA is followed immediately by our Tips and Tricks as well as Technical Information sections where you can find all kinds of informative information of the interesting type about that game we all play. And of course, on our back page we have an ad from a local Sims based company. We do have to feed ourselves somehow you know.
And now we subject ourselves to you, the Sims community, to see if we have something here. Take a look, and we hope you enjoy it!
